There is plenty of variety at the Ardhowen Theatre over the next few weeks with comedy, music and theatre all on the programme.

Enniskillen born singer/songwriter Annie Falconer performs her album ‘Hole In My Soul’, in the Ardhowen Gallery Bar on Friday, September 30 at 9pm. Annie is an accomplished singer-songwriter and pianist and cites her influences as Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell. “Annie is a truly inspirational artist. The Family Shark Show brings to life, the story behind the song on Saturday, October 1 at 2pm. Enjoy the excitement, as Baby meets new friends on the first day at school. This production is perfect for families with small children aged, one to six years of age.

After 17 years of international touring Toccata Musical Productions are back with their soloists, orchestra and the Toccata Chorus in ‘Gimme Some Lovin’, in support of Fermanagh Women’s Aid, on Wednesday, October 5 at 8pm. Presenting popular hits from Queen, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, ABBA and many more the concert will enthral you with popular pop, country, rock hits. Toccata are Cultural Ambassadors of Northern Ireland, with musicians who have worked with musical greats like Dan Seals, Elton John, Demi Lovato, Illayaa Raja, Gaither Vocal Band and many more.

On Thursday, October 6 at 8pm, the Ardhowen presents Simon & Garfunkel Through The Years. Critically acclaimed as one of the greatest tribute shows in the world, this show has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, Australia and USA, receiving standing ovations and selling out theatres night after night. Fronted by Dan Haynes and Pete Richards, the show is a masterpiece in musicianship, which perfectly recreates the unmistakable sound of Simon & Garfunkel. Featuring all the iconic songs, including The Sound of Silence, Mrs. Robinson, The Boxer and the smash hit Bridge Over Troubled Water.

It has been described as “one of the greatest tribute shows anywhere in the world” by BBC and ITV Broadcaster Stuart Cameron.

The Fermanagh Live Arts Festival (FLive) kicks off on Thursday, October 6 with a wonderful and varied programme. The Ardhowen is delighted to host several events including Seamus O’Rourke in The Handyman on Friday, October 7, Richard Pierce in conversation in Behind the Eyes, a creative writing workshop with Bernie McGill and music from Iona Sound, both on Saturday, October 8, and an evening of smooth jazz with Victoria Geelan and Scott Flanagan on Sunday, October 9.
