COUNCILLOR Fergus McQuillan, Chairman of Fermanagh District Council, officially re-opened the DOE’s Driver and Vehicle Testing Agency’s (DVTA) Enniskillen MOT Centre, which has been completely re-equipped with the latest computerised vehicle testing technology. The new equipment now puts the DVTA at forefront of vehicle testing in Europe.
Councillor McQuillan said: “I comment the DVTA for the role it plays in ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy. With the continued growth in the numbers of vehicle son the road, this news equipment will ensure that road safety standards are upheld.”
The new equipment will enable test centres to deal with an additional volume of testing as the growth of vehicles requiring an MOT is expected to continue.
