Plenty of houses are busy across Fermanagh every morning getting children ready for school – but the Maxwell home in Lisbellaw must be one of the busiest as the Maxwells get their four boys and two girls ready and out the door to attend Lisbellaw Primary School and Community Nursery.
The six Maxwell siblings – Sophie (P7), Darryl (P5), Dylan (P4), Dale (P2), Dru (P1) and Sarah (Nursery) – enjoy every minute of their education and the opportunity to learn together.
The proud parents of the Maxwell children commented on the “lovely opportunity” it is to have their children at the one school, and added: “They love school – they are enjoying learning from their teachers, playing with their friends, and being a part of the Lisbellaw PS and Community Nursery community.”
With quiet understatement, school principal Jason Kilfedder said how it’s “unique to have six siblings at the same school”.
It certainly is – but the smiling Maxwells are clearly happy to be sharing their school days together.
