Teachers and staff were delighted by the creativity on show at St. Ninnidh’s Primary School Hallowe'en Extravaganza, held last week by the school.
A Hallowe'en Pumpkin Carving Competition was organised by the school council: Katie, Olan, Conal, Adam, Daniel, Vanessa, Victor, Ben, Emma, Ella, Sarah, Kevin, Aoibhinn, Orla, Owen and Maria.
Carvings included some very inventive carvings, including Mickey Mouse, a rooster, The Cookie Monster, along with some delicate traditional carvings.
“We are delighted with the response from the children and our school families” said Miss Campbell, school council co-ordinator for fundraising.
She continued: "The money raised from the competition will be used to buy some outdoor toys for break times. We are very grateful to the local businesses who sponsored prizes and items for our tuck shop."
