There is plenty of variety at the Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen over the coming weeks ranging from music to film to drama, and much more.
All seats are sold at the Ardhowen for The Tumbling Paddies on Thursday, November 3 at 8pm. The talented and energetic six-piece band have taken the music scene by storm over the past four years. With their catchy original songs and distinctive take on well-known cover songs, they have created their own unique Trad/Pop sound and their gigs attract all ages from teens to 80+ years old.
Knocks Drama Group return with their latest production, Loophole by John McManus, on Friday 4 and Saturday, November 5 at 8pm. The story of two miserable farmers, Paidi and Cass, who come up with a cunning plan to leave Paidi’s farm to Cass in his will. On the surface it seems they are best friends, but all is not as it appears. Please note, this performance contains some adult references and is suitable for 16+ years.
Join multi-award-winning wildlife cameraman Doug Allan for 'It’s A Wrap' on Tuesday, November 8 at 8pm. Born in Fife, Doug Allan spent seven years in Antarctica as a Scientist, research diver and photographer for the British Antarctic Survey, before changing direction to full time freelance filming in 1983. Since then, he has become one of the world’s best known and respected cameramen, specialising in natural history, expeditions and science documentaries. He has worked for the BBC, Discovery, National Geographic and many others, filming for series including The Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Human Planet, Frozen Planet, Ocean Giants, Operation Iceberg, Wild Cameramen at Work, and Brian Cox’s Forces of Nature.
Fermanagh Film Club presents The Good Boss on Wednesday, November 9 at 8pm. The Good Boss is a workplace comedy with Javier Bardem as the friendly face of capitalist corruption, a biting and acerbic character study. Directed by Fernando León de Aranoa, The Good Boss is in Spanish, with subtitles and is classified Certificate: 15.
Wrong Jovi are widely considered to be “the best Bon Jovi tribute band in the world!” So much so, that even the former Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora, has personally thanked the band for their hard work and unforgettable performances. In their seven years of touring, the band have performed across the world and featured on the BBC prime-time TV show, Even Better Than The Real Thing. Performing a set of greatest hits, live favourites and rarities, the band ensure that there is something for the casual follower and even the most die-hard of Bon Jovi fans, on Thursday, November 10 at 8pm.
Back by popular demand 'A Night With the Country Stars' returns for another night of hand clapping magic with a super array of Ireland's top stars on Friday, November 11 at 8pm. The stellar line-up includes accordion maestro Brendan Shine, Patrick Feeney, Country Queen Kathy Durkin, Shawn Cuddy and Shaun Loughrey. All the performers will be superbly accompanied by Ireland's top backing band Keltic Storm.
