Ahead of the launch of their Christmas exhibition ‘JOY’ on Sunday, November 27, Hambly & Hambly are hosting an evening of dinner and jazz amid the art at the gallery space in Dunbar House, Enniskillen.
The unique event will take place on Saturday, November 26 and will offer attendees a preview of the new exhibition.
Tickets can be purchased directly from Hambly & Hambly Gallery and Cultural Hub.
The evening will begin with bubbles and canapés on arrival.
A delicious three-course Moroccan dinner will then be provided by The Lovely Leitrim Barge, followed by Jazz and dancing with Blue Gardenia.
The JOY exhibition, which features an array of new collections by leading Hambly & Hambly artists, will then officially launch on the Sunday afternoon at 3pm by Dr. Wendy York.
Wendy is President of the Château de Dampierre, France. She is an advisor and activist in extending the Hambly & Hambly gallery internationally.
"She joins us from Dampierre where Hambly & Hambly exhibit and hold artist residences. Wendy is an acclaimed expert and lecturer on art history. She supports our Hambly & Hambly developments with passion and commitment, offering invaluable support and involvement," said a Hambly & Hambly spokesperson.
From 3.30pm to 5pm, there will be an opportunity to view the exhibition, with wine and cheese provided.
At 5pm there will be a conversation with Rita Duffy. Rita is a Hambly & Hambly gallery artist who exhibits her 'Severance' collection in Joy. She is widely considered as Northern Ireland’s foremost artist, was made an Honorary Member of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects. She was elected an associate of Goldsmiths College in London and has had key involvement in a project between Argentina and Northern Ireland, concerning the role of art in post conflict societies. She is constantly focused on both international subjects and those closer to home in Belfast and Dublin. Rita is an invited member of both Royal Ulster Academy and Aosdána.
