The Ardhowen is thrilled to welcome back Enniskillen Light Operatic with their first full musical since 2019 – Disney’s smash-hit musical, ‘The Little Mermaid’.
The fantastic family show has wonderful Disney songs that everyone knows and loves, including ‘Under the Sea’, ‘Kiss the Girl’ and the soaring ‘Part of Your World’.
Start your Christmas season with a musical treat; performances run from today, Thursday, November 24 to this Saturday, November 26, and next Tuesday, November 29 to Saturday, December 3 at 8pm.
Staying with live entertainment, and Centre Stage Theatre Company bring some panto fun in ‘Santa’s Sooty Christmas’, showing on Wednesday, December 7, at 10.30am and 1pm; on Thursday, December 8 at 10.30am, 1pm and 7pm; and on Friday, December 9 at 10.30am.
To crafts now, and Genevieve Murphy facilitates two fantastic craft sessions for kids, making Christmas Decorations on Saturday, December 3, in a workshop suitable for children aged five to eight years of age. She also facilitates the Christmas Treasure Boxes workshop, for children aged seven to 10, on Saturday, December 10, with both workshops at 2.30pm.
Don’t miss the chance to see two Christmas classics on a big screen on Saturday, December 10, with ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ – a playful yet faithful adaptation of the classic Christmas tale at noon, and the Frank Capra classic, ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore, later at 5pm.
To music, and all seats are sold for Eagles tribute band, Talon on Friday, December 9 at 8pm – but there is still availability for an evening with singer/songwriter Anthony Toner performing in the Gallery Bar on Saturday, December 10 at 9pm, and for the Human Touch: Springsteen – A Tribute at 8pm on Sunday, December 11, featuring top Irish session musicians and fronted by veteran American singer and guitarist, Monte Thompson.
Coming up later in the month, Frank and JJ McNamara perform together in The Apple & The Tree; and Fermanagh School of Music and Performing Arts presents two showcase events on Monday, December 19 and Wednesday, December 21. Declan Nerney returns on Thursday, December 22, and The Pure Country Show on Friday, December 30, all at 8pm.
Jake O’Kane is back with his new stand-up show, ‘Cheaper Than Sitting At Home’ on Thursday, December 29 at 8pm, with Terry McHugh as support.
Fermanagh Film Club’s two final films this season are ‘Compartment No. 6’ on Wednesday, December 14, and ‘Benediction’ on Tuesday, December 20.
