Local artist Alison Britton will be having an exhibition of her beautiful work in The Cowshed Gallery, Tullyhommon/Pettigo open every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) throughout December from noon to 7pm.
To complement her original works of art on sale, the exhibition will include a range of limited edition framed prints of her work, perfect for Christmas gifting.
Alison is an Irish artist living on the Fermanagh/Donegal Border who is best known for her batik work, but she also uses various media to create vibrant and decorative art works.
Her influences are many, not least the beautiful Lough Erne in Fermanagh and the stunning beaches of Donegal.
Nature in all its glory is a constant in her work, inspiring intricate patterns and vibrant colour. Her love for vintage and antique fabrics and wallpapers is also very evident in her work, with the exhibition certain to impress.
