MORE than £10,000 has been raised thanks to the hugely successful and entertaining ‘Not So Strictly Come Dancing Enniskillen’ event held at the Killyhevlin Hotel last Thursday night.
Dancers put their best foot forward for the charity event to raise money for Cavaliers In Need, SWELL Fermanagh and St. John Ambulance Northern Ireland.
In a front of a sell-out crowd the dancers showed off all their hard work, putting in a fantastic show for the audience, and making sure all of the the blood, sweat and tears shed since September were well worth it.
Winners on the night included George Gordon and Julie Cummings for Best Ballroom; John Canning and Emma Leonard took Best Freestyle; Most Entertaining went to Albert Robinson and Sharon Crudden; while the People’s Choice Award went to Gail Curry and Claire Mullen.
Jets Cheerleaders and Loraine Clarke Line Dance also put on a display on the night, as well as previous contestants.
The organisers would like to thank the dance tutors, Shauneen and Aimee, who worked hard with the dancers to make the event happen as well as the Killyhevlin Hotel for the use of their facilities and Pat’s Bar and Enniskillen Hotel also for the use of their premises to practice whenever they needed.
