A new Waterstones bookshop will officially open its doors in Erneside Shopping Centre, Enniskillen this Friday (December 2).

It was announced earlier this year that the book retail giant would open a store in Enniskillen, which was welcome news for avid readers in the county following the closure of Easons in the town centre during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Announcing the official opening date, Sinéad McCorry, Retail Manger, Waterstones Ireland said: "We are absolutely delighted to announce the opening of our new Waterstones Enniskillen branch at Erneside Shopping Centre, which will open its doors to customers on Friday, December 2.

"Occupying a spacious unit in the centre, our bookshop will be a great destination for local readers and tourists alike," she added.

The bookselling team will be under the leadership of bookshop manager, Peter Gray.

"We will open just in time for the gifting season, offering a huge selection of new books from gorgeous cookery books and captivating memoirs to compelling history books.

"We also have a fabulous range of books for children, from baby through to young adult, as well as a beautiful range of gifts and stationery," said Sinéad.
