Police have closed a number of roads in Fermanagh following a report of a suspicious object left in the Crom Road area of Newtownbutler.
The PSNI received the report in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, November 30) and advised members of the public to "remain vigilant" and to report any suspicious activity by calling 101.
It was announced by the police on this afternoon that a number of roads in the area were closed as investigations continue.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The Crom Road is closed between its junctions with The Kids Road and Landbrock Road.
"The Bun Road is also closed at its junction with Lehinch Road and the Drumcru Road at its junction with High Street in Newtownbutler village.
"Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area."
