Road closed as security alert continues
A security alert in Newtownbutler which began on Thursday morning is still ongoing this morning, Sunday December 4, PSNI have confirmed.
A PSNI spokesperson said:"A suspicious object located in the Landbrock Road area on Thursday 1 December, following a police search, is currently being examined.
"The Crom Road remains closed at its junctions with the Landbrock Road and the Galloon Road."
The spokesperson added: "Members of the public should continue to avoid the area.
"Relevant updates will be provided in due course."
