Police in Fermanagh are appealing for witnesses after traffic lights in Enniskillen town centre were struck by a vehicle yesterday afternoon (Thursday, January 12).
The damage to the traffic lights resulted in the lights not being operational, which led to PSNI officers having to assist with traffic control.
Motorists were advised to be cautious at the time.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report that a vehicle had struck traffic lights in the Dublin Road area of Enniskillen yesterday afternoon, Thursday, January 12.
"Officers attended to manage traffic while the lights were repaired.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact police at 101, quoting reference 843."
It is understood that the traffic lights are currently being fixed.
