A volunteer recruitment day took place on Saturday for the Inniskillings Museum. The museum reopened in February 2022 after being forced to close its doors to the public during the Covid-19 pandemic. Like most small cultural institutions, the museum is still feeling the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the team is working hard to have the museum running at full capacity once more.
The museum kicked off 2023 with a Volunteer Recruitment Day, supported by the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership through funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund. The Lough Erne Landscape Partnership works with small community-focused groups in County Fermanagh.
The museum is a non-profit organisation/charity. For those who want to gain experience in a culture and heritage setting, the Inniskillings Museum is calling you. Volunteers have opportunities to gain experience in tourism, retail, research, and collection care. Contact the Inniskillings Museum on 02866323142 or email info@inniskillingsmuseum.com to register your interest.
