A number of Translink staff based at Ulsterbus Enniskillen depot arranged a walk at the world famous ‘Stairway to Heaven’ Cuilcagh Boardwalk last Summer, to raise funds for Translink’s Charity Partner, Air Ambulance NI.
The event, on June 18, raised over £700 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland NI.
Enniskillen Ulsterbus Service Delivery Manager Dermot McGirr said: “We were pleased to be able to support the essential emergency service delivered every day by Air Ambulance.
“Staff from Ballymena, Belfast and Dungannon enjoyed meeting up with seven Enniskillen colleagues to make an enjoyable day out.
“On the day, walking conditions were near-perfect! Many of those undertaking the hike hadn’t climbed Cuilcagh before, so it was a great opportunity to do so and to meet colleagues from other areas, while raising money for this vital service.”
