Enniskillen tourist accommodation Belmore Court and Motel has been shortlisted for the prestigious Northern Ireland Hotels Federation's 'Housekeeping Team of the Year' award. The four-star guest accommodation is the only property in Fermanagh or Tyrone to have made it through to the final in any of the four categories, making this a tremendous honour and recognition for its hard-working housekeeping team.
Laura Kirkovalde and David Howe represented the team at the assessment day in Belfast, where they competed against other housekeeping teams from throughout Northern Ireland. An unannounced visit from an inspector followed their shortlisting, who inspected a number of bedrooms and public areas.
Belmore Court and Motel has won the 'Housekeeping Team of the Year' award on five occasions: 2011, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2020, demonstrating its consistent commitment to providing outstanding service. The guest accommodation is immensely proud to represent the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation and the hospitality industry at this level.
Terry McCartney, Owner/Manager of the Motel, said: "We are overjoyed to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and are grateful for the recognition of our team's hard work and dedication. None of this would be possible without our incredible housekeeping team, and we are immensely grateful for their commitment and hard work.
"We look forward to the awards ceremony and wish all the nominees the best of luck. Regardless of the outcome, we will always strive for excellence in everything we do."
