Quay Lane in Enniskillen is now in its final phase of construction, with road resurfacing works in the car park and link roads having commenced on Wednesday, March 8 to be completed on Sunday, March 12, with no work to take place on Saturday, March 11.
A spokesperson for Fermanagh and Omagh District Council said: “Access to the car park will remain [open] during the works apart from on Sunday, March 12, which requires a full road closure.
“The closure will prevent any vehicles entering the car park from Belmore Street and the Wellington Road. We would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.”
The major upgrade to the town centre car park is part of Environmental Improvement Scheme works which is supported through funding from the Department for Communities and has included improvements to the footways, street lighting, drainage and street furniture.
