More than 200 anglers from Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, France and further afield have descended on the county to take part in the 46th Fermanagh Fishing Classic event which is currently running until to Friday, May 12.
The Fermanagh Fishing Classic is one of the most anticipated premier showcase events of the match coarse fishing season calendar, which brings together people for a true celebration of the love of competitive angling.
Many anglers have been returning to Fermanagh inland shores for decades, with the 2023 Classic proving no exception.
This year, festival participants were invited to a registration event on Sunday, May 7, and a gala prize-giving event will bring the event to a close on Friday night.
The ‘King of the Erne’ competition, which complements ‘Classic Week’, took place on Monday, May 2 and will also take place today (Thursday, May 11).
