To celebrate the end of the school year, each summer Enniskillen Royal Grammar School’s junior actors prepare a play to entertain their peers and parents.
The Junior Drama Club meets after school in the summer term. It is open to all pupils in Years 8 and 9. This year their performance is ‘Baskerville’ – a modern interpretation of the classic Sherlock Holmes story, ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’.
Sir Henry Baskerville travels from his home in America to Edwardian London. He has come to claim his inheritance, but the male heirs of the Baskerville line are being murdered, one by one. Will Sir Henry be doomed by an ancient family curse?
Family friends ask the world’s greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his partner Dr. Watson, for help. Does a wild Hellhound prowl the Moors of Devonshire? Can Holmes and Watson discover the truth in time to save the life of Sir Henry?
Watch as the intrepid investigators solve a dizzying web of clues, silly accents, disguises and deceits.
The performance will take place in Enniskillen Royal Grammar School’s Steele Hall at the Lough Shore site on Thursday, June 22 at 7pm.
