WARNINGS on travel disruption have been sounded amid ongoing snow showers today (Thursday).
Snow has been persistent since early morning, and although this has made for stunning winter scenes, driving conditions on a number of local roads have been impacted.
The R201 road has been closed from Ballyconnell to Carraigallen, while reports were also made that the Marble Arch Road near Enniskillen is impassable.
Drivers are being asked to exercise caution if travelling in these areas, with delays expected.
Snow is forecast for the best part of the afternoon, with conditions set to turn to rain by 6pm this evening.
According to the MET Office, this will mark the end of the most recent spell of snow, with conditions to be much more settled tomorrow (Friday)
