Gardaí in Co. Leitrim are investigating the discovery of a body on "open land" near the Fermanagh Border.
The body of a man in his 40s was discovered on open land on Saturday afternoon (March 2).
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí in Kinlough are investigating all the circumstances in relation to the discovery of a body of a man on open land in Kiltyclogher, Co. Leitrim on the afternoon of Saturday, March 2.
"The scene is subject to a technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
"A post-mortem is expected to take place on the body of the deceased, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
"Investigations are ongoing.”
