AN ENNISKILLEN man is facing nine counts of fraud by abuse of position.
The case of Nigel William Johnston (56) of Market Street, Enniskillen was discussed at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court on Monday, March 11.
Johnston is accused of, during various dates in 2019, dishonestly abusing a position where he was expected to safeguard the financial interests of a women, and in that position, made an application for finance in the name of said woman.
This was, according to the charges, with the intention of making a gain for himself or another, or to cause loss to the woman and/or 'Ivendi Limited'.
The alleged offending occurred on March 1, 12, 14 and 21, 2019; May 9, 2019; and August 9, 2019.
Johnston was not in attendance in court when the case was discussed.
A legal representative for Johnston asked that the case be postponed for case management.
District judge, Alana McSorley, ordered that the case be returned to on March 20 at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court.
