THE case of an Irvinestown man who is facing charges of rape, non-fatal stangulation and false imprisonment has been adjourned.
Jordan McGovern (24) of Rahall Road, Irvinestown, failed to appear at a hearing of Enniskillen Magistrate's Court on Monday, March 11.
McGovern is facing a total of five charges from an alleged incident in July of last year, including raping, assaulting, strangling and unlawfully imprisoning a woman.
Defence barrister, Stefan Rafferty, told the court that a full-file has been received and was in the process of being checked.
Remanding McGovern on continuing bail, district judge Alana McSorley ordered that the case be heard again on March 25.
