Well done to Harold and Joan Williamson, from Fivemiletown (pictured here with their son, Lyle), who I see made a very generous donation to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (AANI) a wee while back.
The Willamsons marked their 50th wedding anniversary – and late congratulations to them both on that – and showed great kindness in donating £810, in lieu of gifts, to AANI, with local volunteer Hazel McClelland delighted to accept the funds.
We all know how vital the AANI service is all across the province, and that its running costs aren’t cheap, so every pound and penny sent their way can truly help to save lives and potentially make all the difference in an emergency.
So, well done to the Williamsons on that super donation, which I think was a wonderful, selfless way for them to mark such a milestone event, and help the terrific AANI service.
