Emergency services are at the scene of a one vehicle road traffic collision near Ballinamallard , which occurred earlier this morning (Sunday, March 31).
It is understood that one person in a ‘critical’ condition has been airlifted to hospital.
The crash occurred on the Enniskillen Road, Ballinamallard. Diversions are in place as emergency services attend the scene where a vehicle appears to have collided with a tree.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Motorists are advised to avoid the Enniskillen Road, Ballinamallard, where police and colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) are currently in attendance at a one vehicle road traffic collision.
“Traffic is being diverted through Ballinamallard.
“Please avoid the area if you can.”
In a social media post, a PSNI spokesperson added: Police would like to advise motorists that the Enniskillen to Irvinestown Road is closed due to a Road Traffic Collision at present.
“It is closed between the Baragh Road at Sydare and the Ballinamallard turn off near Trory.
“Please seek an alternative route.”
