THE PSNI have been busy speaking with businesses in Enniskillen regarding the ever-pressing issue of business crime.
Recently, Enniskillen Neighbourhood Policing Team reached out to retailers to educate them about the threat of shoplifting and the PSNI's 'Safe Shop' scheme.
Safe Shop provides business owners with specialised skills to help them prevent crime and keep everyone safe on their premises.
It is provided by local police and crime prevention officers at no cost.
The Safe Shop initiative provides retail and security staff with the knowledge and confidence to prevent crime and antisocial behaviour in their work place.
Speaking on the recent outreach initiative, a PSNI spokesperson said: "As part of our Northern Ireland-wide day of action on business crime, Enniskillen Neighbourhood Policing Team have been out speaking with local retailers today about our Safe Shop scheme.
"We also were joined by our partner, Fermanagh and Omagh Policing and Community Safety Partnership, in our local shopping centre to speak about local issues and to provide some crime prevention advice."
