A retired teacher from Enniskillen has been sentenced for speeding.
Damien Dempster (62) from Coole Drive, Enniskillen, was sentenced at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court on Monday.
A prosecutor told the court how on October 21 of last year, Dempster was detected on Main Street, Derrylin, driving a BMW at 44mph.
This was 14 miles in excess of the 30-speed limit.
Dempster's solicitor described his client as a "retired teacher", and added that he had cooperated with authorities at the time of the incident.
District Judge, Alana McSorley, imposed three penalty points, a £75 fine, and a £15 offender levy.
