A Fermanagh man who was in a crash last month has undergone a seven-hour operation as a church prays for stability for the 26-year-old.
Matthew Coalter, from Enniskillen, was involved in a road traffic collision at the Silgo Road area of Letterbreen on Sunday, April 14.
On Tuesday evening, an update was posted on the Facebook page of Brookeborough Elim Church which said: "Matthew is through a seven-hour operation and the operations have went well however, please pray for stability now!
"Currently the medics are working to get Matthew stabilised again. Please pray for the medics as they assess and work with Matthew at this time."
Brookeborough Elim and its members as well as many others right across Northern Ireland and indeed further afield have been praying around the clock for Matthew following his accident.
A 12-hour day of prayer organised by Brookeborough Elim took place on Friday (April 26) and was held via a live-stream on the church's Facebook page.
Prayers were said for Matthew, for the Coalter family, prayers for Matthew's friends, all of those in the ICU ward, prayers for all medical staff, and "for healing over Matthew's body".
Following the day of prayer, Brookeborough Elim posted on social media that that there had been some "movement and encouragements" in Matthew's condition with flexing of the legs and an "improvement in eye motion".
