TWO well-known faces within the Fermanagh hospitality industry have been named 'Hotel Heroes'.
Both Trevor Shannon, Head Chef at the Killyhevlin Hotel, and Pascal Whitley, Operations Manager at the Manor House Country Hotel, were honoured at the recent award ceremony in Belfast.
The yearly awards seek to recognise the outstanding individuals who serve as ambassadors in the hotel profession and to showcase the diverse roles and opportunities available within the sector.
Congratulating Trevor, a spokesperson from the Killyhevlin Hotel said: "We are delighted that Trevor's hard work and dedication to the industry has been recognised by the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation (NIHF) at a special Hotel Heroes awards ceremony in the Observatory at Grand Central Hotel, Belfast.
"Trevor has been a long-serving member of the 'Killy Family' since the early 90s, and Head Chef since 2021."
In the same measure, the Manor House Country Hotel passed on their congratulations to Pascal.
"A massive congratulations to our wonderful Operations Manager, Pascal Whitley," a spokesperson said.
"He is one of the NIHF's Hotel Heroes for 2024, recognising his outstanding contribution to the hospitality sector.
"Pascal has an infectiously positive attitude and is a joy to work with, and our customers regularly tell us how much he has enhanced their experience of the hotel.
"Congratulations Pascal - we're very lucky to have you!"
