AN 87-year-old knitting enthusiast has done her bit to provide comfort to kids who have been in A&E.
Mrs Olive Saunderson, a parishioner of Inishmacsaint Parish Church, recently presented over 34 teddies to Deputy Sisters Rachel Mahon and Deidre Bogue, Accident and Emergency Department SWAH.
Olive knitted these teddies in her home during the winter months.
These will be given to children in Accident and Emergency who undergo invasive procedures.
A spokesperson from Inishmacsaint Parish Church said: "Olive is a wonderful lady who works quietly at home - a labour of love."
