In what will be disappointing news for many as Enniskillen Community Market has announced that it will be closing
The popular market had been on the go in the Salvation Army Hall in Enniskillen since June of 2023.
A spokesperson for the group said: "Enniskillen Community Market is now coming to an end. Unfortunately, the venue we use is no longer available to us as they wish to use it themselves for a different endeavour, we wish them all the best with their future endeavour."
Reflecting on what the market achieved, a spokesperson for the group said: "We are very proud of the market and it is with a heavy heart at this time we must bring it to an end as this was the most suitable venue across the communities.
"We are very proud that five ladies came up with an idea sat around the kitchen table and managed to achieve a successful market which has helped change the future of many in the community.
"We helped local people change their futures Fallguy records is now open in the Buttermarket alongside Lough Erne Vintage both who started their journey with a stall at the community market.
"We helped Rayanne Dooley raise money for her MS treatment by selling her amazing blooms and a donation, along with a £500 donation to Shop Mobility Enniskillen."
The final day for the community market will be June 1 from 10 am to 3 pm.
