Knockmany Forest witnessed a burst of colourful celebrations earlier this month as Clogher Girlguiding marked its 70th anniversary with a vibrant Colour Run.
The event was organised by Ruth Fannin, as part of The Queen’s Guide award, and was a resounding success for all participants.
Clogher Girlguiding wish to thank sponsors R. A. Noble & Co., and Fannin’s, Clogher, whose generous support made the event possible.
The festivities continued with a Thanksgiving Service at Clogher Presbyterian Church Hall, where Girlguiding Tyrone President, Edith Boyd, expressed appreciation for the remarkable turnout, highlighting the presence of past Guides and Brownies.
The service, conducted by Rev. Edwin Fraser and Rev. Lindsay Blair, was a moving tribute, supported by the contributions of Richard and Lynn [PowerPoint and sound], Dorothy [organ], and Helen [piano].
Proceeds raised from these events will benefit 1st Clogher Girl Guides and Brownies, and the Fields of Life ‘I Am Girl’ campaign.
