The 155th Balmoral Show will be remembered by many for the ideal sunny and dry weather conditions, large crowds totalling in excess of 100,000 people over the four days, plenty of showmanship and activities, mouth-watering food exhibits, and lots of display exhibits to browse over.

For competitors, it was a tiring week, mainly because of the heat and the high-quality entry of livestock on display.

For local exhibitors, there was plenty to cheer about, with prize rosettes going to many of them.

For Rodney Balfour from Mullygarry Farm, Letterbreen, it was a repeat performance for his pedigree Ile de France sheep, picking up the champion and reserve in the breed section.

Joshua Keys from Clogher took the breed championship for Beltex in another competitive round of judging.

In the cattle section, Nigel Edwards and Michele McCauley, now based in Dungannon, took the reserve, junior and male championship rosettes with their Irish Moiled breed.
