A 42-year-old man who was arrested in Fermanagh as part of a cross-border terrorism investigation has been released from custody following questioning.
The arrest was made following the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in Co Louth in the early hours of Sunday, June 9.
A search was then carried out at a property in the Letterbreen area.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 42-year-old man arrested by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit, following the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in Co Louth, has been released from custody following questioning.
"Police have been working alongside colleagues in An Garda Síochána, who carried out a search of the Ravensdale area during the early hours of Sunday morning, June 9, when the device was located.
"A further search was of a property in the Letterbreen area outside Enniskillen.
"The investigation continues."
