There has been great shock and sadness in Fermanagh following the passing of the late Maria Britton on Wednesday [June 13].
Mrs. Britton was the wife of the biker Richard Britton who died in an accident in 2005. At the time of his death, he was one of Ireland's leading motorcycle road racers.
Mrs. Britton was well known and regarded in the Fermanagh and further afield.
She is survived by her son, Loris, who has followed in his father's footsteps with a career in motorcycle racing.
Mrs. Britton's funeral will take place on Saturday.
Funeral arrangements are being conducted by John McKeegan Funeral Undertaker.
