For four years, a preschool in Enniskillen walked a mile each day in May to support a local charity.
The children in the full-time class at Enniskillen Nursery School took on the challenge to support Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
This year, their walk raised £1,250 from just one class.
Lisa Phair, principal at the school, has a personal connection to the charity as her daughter Molly was born with a rare heart condition and required extensive surgery as a baby.
She said: "The charity was and has continued to be a great source of support to our family and countless others like us, and the work that they do to support Heart babies and children in Northern Ireland is incredible’
"It is not until as a family you are faced with these difficult circumstances you truly understand the value of charities like this and the support that they give.
"Over the past four years in Nursery School we have sought to raise money for the charity through our ‘ Mile a Day in May’ challenge and our ‘Rock Red Friday’ non-uniform days.
"To date we have raised over £5,000."
