Kinawley was the place to be last weekend when the community came together to host a mid-summer bash.
The events were wide-ranging and began with a disco for pre-school and primary school-aged children in the Community Centre. The event was organised by Little Treasures Playschool and was well attended by children from the community.
On Saturday evening, there was a music night which took place in the Community Hall. The Porter Bellies kicked off proceedings as music lovers enjoyed the sounds before the headline performance of the evening, the High Stool Prophets took to the stage and wowed the crowd.
The final event of the weekend was the Mid-Summer Community Barbeque, again hosted at the community centre.
The barbecue was an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy good company and good food on what was a stunning and scenic evening. Those attending were able to marvel at the wonderful beauty of their area.
The barbeque was organised by Tullymill Restaurant and those attending enjoyed a wide range of food with some live music and access to the bar in the community centre. There was live music for all to enjoy and the children were kept entertained with an appearance by the Party Bees.
