AN IRVINESTOWN man who drove with a defective tyre has been sentenced.
The case of Jamie Mills (20) of Forthill Park, Irvinestown, was heard at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court on Monday, June 24.
A prosecutor told the court how on March 15 of this year, police on mobile patrol on the Enniskillen Road, Irvinestown spoke with Mills, the driver of a car.
Officers observed how the rear nearside tyre of the car was "worn significantly" and below the minimum legal tread.
Mills was cautioned on the roadside.
District Judge, Alana McSorley imposed three penalty points along with £100 fine and £15 offender levy.
