A WOMAN who is accused of causing the death of an expectant mother in Belleek has had bail varied to attend an "addiction centre".
The case of Emma Josephine Feely (34) of Blackrock Park, Belleek, was discussed at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court on Monday, July 8.
A solicitor told the court that Feely was seeking a variation of bail conditions to attend a "residential rehab programme".
Feely is accused of causing the death of Brazilian native, Valeria Amorim, by driving dangerously on a road, namely Boa Island Road, Belleek, on February 19 of this year.
At the time of the incident, she was also charged with driving with excess alcohol in her breath, as well as a number of other driving charges.
Feely's solicitor said a variation of bail was being sought as she would no longer be residing at the specified bail address, given that she would be an inpatient at a drugs and alcohol rehabilitation centre in Omagh.
Deputy District Judge Rea granted the variation of bail, and then asked for an update in relation to the case.
A prosecutor told the court that the full case file was "still outstanding", and said that a period of four weeks was necessary to allow for the preparation of it.
Judge Rea ordered that the case be returned to on Monday, August 5.
