A CASE file relating to the case of two Fermanagh men who are accused of preparing terrorist acts will not be complete until November, a court has heard.

Emmet Maguire (43) of Station Road and Rory Logan (42) of Ross Close both appeared before Enniskillen Magistrate's Court via video link on Monday, July 29.

They are jointly charged with preparing for acts of terrorism by travelling to Cullies Cemetery in Co. Cavan on June 8, where they allegedly collected a radio-controlled explosively formed projectile which they transported to Dromad, Louth.

It is further alleged they unlawfully and maliciously had in their possession or under their control certain explosive substances, namely, a radio-controlled explosively formed projectile, with intent by means thereof to endanger life or cause serious injury to property, and had them under suspicious circumstances.

A prosecutor told the court that a full file for both Maguire and Logan wasn't due until November 3 of this year.

Both are being represented by Belfast law firm, Phoenix Law, the court heard.

District Judge Alana McSorley ordered that an update on the case is provided given on August 13.

Remanding both in custody, Judge McSorley also ordered that the case was transferred to Omagh Magistrate's Court for the next hearing.
