The Clogher Valley Show yesterday (Wednesday) had an impressive array of animals on display particularly in the cattle and sheep classes as the appeared in fine condition by their exhibitors.
Boosting this year’s classes was the holding of the Northern Ireland Aberdeen Angus Summer Championship sponsored by the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society and ABP which attracted an outstanding entry of stock.
The Northern Ireland Charolais National Championship sponsored by the Bank of Ireland was also hosted by Clogher Valley Show and there were lots of entries in more than a dozen classes with the champion going to Thomas Devine who also won the Senior Female Championship with Brownhill Tara.
The champion beef shorthorn was won by Fermanagh exhibitor Percy Lindsay and the Champion Limousin was lifted by Stephen Crawford, Maguiresbridge with Alan Veitch of Lisbellaw taking reserve.
