GOING back to school is an exciting time for pupils and parents alike.
Whether it be getting the uniform sorted, booking those last-minute haircuts or buying stationary, parents in Fermanagh have much to sort out before that long-awaited first day of school rolls around.
For Fivemiletown brothers, Arthur and Isaac Fleming, feelings of nerves ahead of their return to primary school are being surpassed by excitement.
"It really is an exciting time for them both," said proud mum, Wendy, whose sons will both attend Fivemiletown High School.
"Some kids might dread it, but the two boys are keen enough to get back! They are looking forward to getting back to school and seeing all their friends."
Arthur, age seven, is set to go into P4. He loves maths and is excited to play football with his friends.
Meanwhile, Isaac, age five, will be going into P3. He enjoys arts, crafts and all things creative.
"They will both be happy to get back to school to do the things they love," Wendy continued. "We can't speak highly enough of Fivemiletown Primary School."
She added: "They have had a really enjoyable summer. They have been doing all sorts of things, including many wee breaks, different camps in the town, swimming lessons, and enjoying the local park."
However, with the new term imminent and the boys set to trade leisure for lessons, Wendy has been busy getting them kitted out for the new school year.
"There are plenty of things to sort, but thankfully it hasn't taken too long," she explained.
"I have the uniforms bought from S D Kells in Lisnaskea, and it was really straightforward.
"The shoes are sorted, and all that is left now is to source Isaac a schoolbag, and to get the haircuts booked. We don't get too stressed in our household!
"Overall, it makes a difference when they have already been at the school and are settled in. They don't mind going at all, and they will be over the moon to see all their wee friends!"
