A £1 million investment project has begun in Enniskillen.
NI Water has announced the beginning of phase two of the Killyhevlin to Cavanacross trunk main project after the successful completion of phase one, which cost £3 million.
The nearly 5km-length of new trunk main carries bulk water supply from Killyhevlin Water Treatment Works to Cavanacross Service Reservoir.
This strengthens the water supply security for about 10,000 customers in the region.
The upgrading of phase two will include connect the new mains to the completed Killyhevlin-Cavanacross trunk main.
Anna Delargy, NI water project manager, said: "We are delighted to announce the start of phase 2 of the Killyhevlin to Cavanacross trunk main, which will further enhance the resilience of the water supply infrastructure in the Killyhevlin area.
"NI Water and our contractor Farrans Glanua JV, along with Campbell Contracts would like to thank the public for their continued patience and cooperation."
