WRITING, art and crafts entries from Fermanagh schoolchildren as part of the Fermanagh County Show go on display this weekend at CAFRE’s Enniskillen Campus.
Pupils from schools have been working on their entries since the beginning of the year and they will be going on display over the two days of this Friday and Saturday, August 9 and 10 at the campus.
The opening times are 3-9pm on Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday.
All pupils have free entry, with a charge of £5 for adults. The main sponsor is Gary Black of GRB Solicitors, Erne Chambers, Enniskillen.
While there is no agricultural show as in previous years, Fermanagh Farming Society has been organising their Classic Suckler and Breeding Heifer Derby competitions which have been judged on farms.
The winners will be announced at a special prizegiving event later in the autumn.
Also taking place this year is the Top Flock Sheep Competition to find the best sheep flock in the county. It is also being judged over the summer months on farm and the winners announced later.
