A LOCAL photographer has captured the timeless beauty of Tempo Stone Circle across all four seasons.
Nichola Elliot, an amateur photographer who goes by the moniker, 'The Happy Snapper', recently delighted followers with the images, which showcase the ever-changing elements throughout the year.
She said: "I was sorting through some pictures, and discovered these four different scenes of the stone circle just before Tempo village. These are all early morning snaps!"
First up was winter, where the ancient stones were covered in a dusting of frost.
Next up, the stones were pictured later in the year, on a crisp spring morning, where the early-morning mist often makes way to brighter days.
Then came summer, where early morning sunrise illuminated the weathered stones in a stunning fashion.
Note again the morning mist, which makes way to stunning sunny days at this time of year.
And finally, in what was perhaps the most stunning photo of all, autumn was captured at the stone circle.
Not one, but two rainbows set a delightful backdrop to the orange and red trees, which have cast leaves which can be seen amid the stones.
