THIS week, Fermanagh photographer Stephanie Wiggins presents ‘Moody Lough Melvin’.
Speaking about this striking shot, Stephanie says: "If you have been following my series so far, you will see a pattern amongst my photographs – I love vibrant colourful sunrises and sunsets.
"Capturing a sunset at Lough Melvin in Garrison was on my list for some time, and after seeing others sharing their lovely images, I knew I wanted one for my own collection.
"Garrison being the other end of the county to me, off I went one sunny day, confident I would come back with the shot I had envisaged. Much to my annoyance, the weather took a turn and a storm rolled in!
"Not to waste a journey, I photographed the scene in front of me and ended up capturing what I believe to be a completely unique shot of Lough Melvin, preferring the moody tone.
"A lesson learned to not always photograph what you think you like."
