The Organic Centre in Leitrim is preparing free events for National Heritage Week.
The events are set to run from August 17 to August 25.

On August 17, a hand spinning demonstration, "From Fleece To Fabric," by Eimear O Neill and Pearl Reddington is aimed at exploring the skill of producing clothing from local materials.
Ms Reddington, a designer from Dromahair, will also sell hand knits on the day.
On August 20 and 21, Steffi Otto will demonstrate reusing tools and materials on the farm, including upcycling broken slates for garden plant labels to reduce plastic use.
On August 21, JP McManus award winner, Gerry Bohan, is set to read a story from his book The Clainings Tree, and on August 25, Ana-Maria Olaru, will guide attendees on a nature-based journey to discover the ecology and history of the Glenaniff river system.
