"As many of you might know and notice we had a fire in our building last night. Fortunately, nobody got hurt and everyone is well and safe.
"We don’t know what caused it yet and how much we have lost. For that, we are waiting for the inspection and the insurance company.
"We thank each and every one of you who have been such an amazing support for our business and all of you who are sending us messages, giving us even more support and empathy. We really appreciate it!
"The community support will be very important for us to get everything together and running again."
The restaurant is popular with those who live in the area, with many travelling from Fermanagh to dine in it.
There has been an outpouring of support on social media, with customers expressing their sympathy.
Confirming that no injuries were reported and no offences were disclosed, a Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fire at a property in Pettigo, Co. Donegal this morning, Monday, August 12 at approximately 3am."
