AN Enniskillen man who is accused of preparing terrorist acts will be seeking bail in September, a court has heard.
Emmet Maguire (43) of Station Road and Rory Logan (43) of Ross Close both appeared before Enniskillen Magistrate's Court via video link on Monday, August 12.
They are jointly charged with preparing for acts of terrorism by travelling to Cullies Cemetery in Co. Cavan on June 8, where they allegedly collected a radio-controlled explosively formed projectile which they transported to Dromad, Louth.
It is further alleged they unlawfully and maliciously had in their possession or under their control certain explosive substances, namely, a radio-controlled explosively formed projectile, with intent by means thereof to endanger life or cause serious injury to property, and had them under suspicious circumstances.
Representing Maguire and Logan was Barrister, Natalie Pinkerton.
She told District Judge, Alana McSorley that a case file for both accused was "still being worked on", and a period of four weeks was being sought for the preparation of the file.
She added that as the two men had been "arrested in July, the matters are still relatively new".
Mrs. Pinkerton also said that a bail application will be lodged for Maguire on September 10.
Judge McSorley ordered that the case be returned to on September 10.
