A PATIENT was airlifted to hospital after being injured in an "accidental" fire near Brookeborough.
The incident, which took place on Sunday, August 11 at around 11.58am, saw firefighters called to the Stranafeley Road.
According to the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS), the fire was the result of a "controlled burn", and had been extinguished when firefighters arrived and inspected the scene.
An NIFRS spokesman confirmed that the fire was "accidental ignition", and the incident was dealt with by 12.42pm.
One casualty required hospital treatment and firefighters assisted the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance NI with treatment of the casualty.
Appliances from Lisnaskea Fire Station, Clogher Fire Station and Enniskillen Fire Station attended the incident, the NIFRS spokesman added.
